FOAM Programs & Services

Families of All Murdered Victims (FOAM) delivers a comprehensive range of programs and services designed to support
families affected by murder, violence, and extreme hardship. Our approach is rooted in compassion, dignity, and immediate
response—ensuring that no individual or family is left to navigate trauma alone.

1. Emergency Support Services
FOAM provides urgent assistance to families in crisis, including grocery packages, hot meals, and essential supplies. These services are designed to stabilize families during their most vulnerable moments and ensure basic needs are met.

2. Shelter & Safe Housing
Since 2017, FOAM has operated a shelter facility that provides safe, temporary housing for individuals and families in need. This includes survivors of domestic violence, victims of human trafficking, witnesses in active cases, and families displaced due to crisis situations.

3. Counseling & Emotional Support
FOAM offers prayer, grief support, and emotional care to families coping with loss and trauma. Through one-on-one support and group engagement, we help individuals begin the healing process and rebuild their sense of hope.

4. Court Advocacy & Victim Support
FOAM stands alongside families throughout the justice process providing guidance, advocacy, and a consistent presence during court proceedings. We ensure that victims’ families are informed, supported, and represented.

5. Children & Youth Support Programs
FOAM is deeply committed to supporting children who have lost a parent to violence. Services include school supplies,
back-to-school assistance, homework support initiatives, and empowerment programs aimed at nurturing resilience and future success.

6. Clothing & Household Assistance
FOAM collects and distributes new and gently used clothing, along with essential household items, to individuals and families in need restoring dignity and easing financial burdens.

7. Community Outreach & Feeding Initiatives
FOAM actively engages the wider community through outreach programs such as monthly school feeding initiatives, public
awareness campaigns, and community events. These efforts extend support beyond immediate victims to uplift the broader
community.

8. Health & Wellness Initiatives
Through partnerships, FOAM hosts blood drives, health screenings, and wellness campaigns encouraging proactive care and community responsibility in saving lives.

9. Advocacy & Policy Engagement
FOAM works at the national level to influence policies related to violence, victims’ rights, and social protection. We advocate for systemic change to ensure better outcomes for families and safer communities.

10. 24-Hour “WE CARE” Initiative (In Development)
FOAM is currently developing a transformative 24-hour facility that will provide round-the-clock access to essential services, including meals, shelter, childcare support, and emergency assistance—addressing the urgent gaps in after-hours social support in The Bahamas.

FOAM’s programs are not just services they are lifelines.
We meet people at their lowest, walk with them through their healing, and stand with them as they rebuild.
